Art House Cinema

John & Jennifer met at the intersection of Art + Architecture when they began designing an art house cinema in a small Cambridge, MA firm together.

They sought to make a building as creative as the art films that would be shown there. Inspired by the idea of projected light, they created a wave motion motif that they carried into the design of the details – including the custom light fixtures, carpet and tile patterns, and the acoustic and wood paneling and cabinetry.

The building won an ASID award and was published in Boston Magazine.
