studio J2 was recognized for professional excellence with a  PRISM Award in October 2016

studio J2 completed work on a renovation project for a parsonage in Lincoln, MA. The original house was designed by modernist architect Henry B. Hoover in 1958 who designed the first modern house in Lincoln a year before Walter Gropius built his famous home here in 1938.  
studio J2 began working on Programming and Pre-Design
for a private Pre-K – 8 school in Louisville, KY.

101 Main Street in Cambridge, MA received a LEED Silver Award

Principal John Lynch received a license to practice Architecture in Connecticut and studio J2 began work on renovations to a seminary in Cheshire, Connecticut.
Construction was completed on 101 Main Street in Cambridge, MA.
Principals Jennifer Steffek and John Lynch were sent to Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto Japan by a client for design research.  The trip served as inspiration for a plethora of new design ideas as well as strengthening some of our core principles such as attention to detail, the importance of a building’s context and the beauty that can be found in simplicity of design.
Construction was completed on 301 Binney Street in Cambridge, MA.
